Farmhouse Collective Diaries: Shishira & Vivek’s Vibrant Bangalore Wedding | Through the lens of MGH

There's an intoxicating kind of magic that unfurls when a couple decides to tear up the script and write their own vows, literally and metaphorically. No rigid rituals. No performative theatrics. Just two people, madly in love, throwing a party that felt less like a wedding and more like a manifesto.

Shishira and Vivek did exactly THAT.

Their wedding wasn't a grand, thousand guest spectacle. It wasn't stiff. It wasn't borrowed from a Pinterest board. It was, in every sense of the word, modern, vibrant, and bursting with an energy that could rival a music festival. And it all unfolded under the generous Bangalore sun at the breathtaking Farmhouse Collective, a venue that feels less like a wedding hall and more like a secret garden where RSVP stands for "Really, Seriously Very Pretty."

We were there to document it all, the smiles, the tears, the spontaneous twirls, and the kind of unbridled joy that makes you forget you're holding a camera.

The Vibe: A Riot of Colour, Zero Rules

From the moment we stepped in, it was clear this wasn't your grandmother's wedding. No shade to grandma, but this was next level.

The decor was a glorious collision of pinks, oranges, and deep maroons. Imagine Manish Malhotra meets a tropical daydream. The floral installations were dramatic, delightfully asymmetrical, and looked like they'd been arranged by someone with a PhD in more is more. The seating was eclectic. The music was a genre bending odyssey that swung from classic Bollywood to indie pop without breaking a sweat.

And the couple? Shishira, in a lehenga that seemed to have pirouetted straight off a Dior runway, and Vivek, sharp as a tack in his grey suit, looked less like they were following tradition and more like they were curating the most unforgettable party of their lives.

The energy was palpable. Guests: young, old, and everyone in between, were swaying before the ceremony even began. There was something wonderfully unscripted about it all. A beautiful chaos that felt utterly intentional.

The Ceremony: When Vows Met Vulnerability

Despite the effervescent, party like atmosphere, the ceremony itself was achingly tender.

The outdoor wedding setup at Farmhouse Collective is nothing short of cinematic, lush carpets of grass, an endless canvas of blue sky, and just enough breeze to make the florals dance like they were part of the guest list. Shishira walked down the aisle (yes, there was an aisle, and yes, there were tears threatening to ruin perfectly good mascara) to a song that clearly held secrets only the two of them understood.

Vivek's face when he saw her? That's the kind of moment wedding photography in Bangalore is born for.The authentic. The “holy sh*t this is actually happening” expression that no amount of direction can manufacture.

The After-Party: Spirits High, Spirits Higher

Here's the thing about a wedding at Farmhouse Collective, the celebration doesn't taper off after the pheras. It accelerates.

The bar opened its arms. The DJ turned the dial to eleven. And suddenly, it wasn't a wedding anymore; it was a jubilant carnival of two people who had found their person and weren't afraid to shout it from the rafters.

We watched aunts out dance uncles with moves that defied age and gravity. Friends formed impromptu dance circles that looked suspiciously choreographed (they weren't..we asked). Shishira and Vivek actually attempted a coordinated entry and absolutely crushed it. There were tears, cascades of laughter, and more than a few "one more round?" whispers floating between guests.

The candid frames we captured that evening remain some of our most treasured. The joy wasn't manufactured. It wasn't posed. It was just… gloriously, messily, beautifully real.

What Made This Wedding Extraordinary

Shishira and Vivek didn't marry because it was expected of them. They married because they couldn't imagine not doing it.

There was no stiff formality, no over-rehearsed choreography, no "look at the camera and smile" moments. They trusted us to capture their story, not a sanitised highlight reel, but the vibrant, messy, glorious fragments in between.

If you're planning a destination wedding or a Bangalore wedding and you want it to feel like you..modern, vibrant, and authentic, take a page from Shishira and Vivek's book.

Toss the rulebook. Hire a photographer who understands your chaos. And dance like nobody's holding a camera.
